Project Brief: Complete refurbishment of a Wandsworth house.
The kitchen was extended to the rear and a lightwell courtyard area formed to allow natural light to flow through from the garden into the front reception rooms. Along with refurbishing the bathrooms, a new master suite was formed, water underfloor heating and wooden flooring were fitted across the complete ground floor and sliding pocket doors were fitted to gain as much space as possible.
The existing basement was lowered, waterproofed and formed into a wine storage area and useful utility/ ironing room. New stairs were also fitted to allow comfortable access from the ground floor.
Finally, the garden was landscaped, tiled and clad to form a seamless inside, outside space that was child friendly, with hidden storage.
